Your Mission:
We are currently seeking a Senior Sales & Business Development Manager to facilitate our expansion into additional markets and position Reflex as a prominent satellite manufacturer for both commercial and defense missions.  
As a Senior Sales & Business Development Manager, your direct reporting line will be to the VP of Sales and Business Development, and you will play a vital role in the Commercial Team at Reflex. Regular and substantial interactions with internal stakeholders and potential external clients will be integral to your responsibilities. Your primary objectives will revolve around developing and implementing market-capture strategies, propelling growth, cultivating new business prospects, and successfully concluding business transactions. 
 
 
  • New Business: Play a key role in identifying business cases, developing plans, and operationalizing the market strategy. 
  • Drive Growth: Build a substantial lead pipeline and be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closing. 
  • Grow the Network: Engage with, manage, and develop relationships with relevant governmental, commercial, and institutional organizations across the market. 
  • Write winning bids: Be responsible for creating outstanding proposals for commercial, institutional, and defense tenders.
Your Background:
We are looking for a self-starter with a strategic mindset and an in-depth knowledge of the European space industry, including current trends, policies, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks. If you are passionate about sales and playing a key role in establishing Reflex as a key player in the global satellite market, we'd love to hear from you. 
 
 
  • Expertise: You have a good technical understanding of satellites and their applications, and know how to sell in a highly specialized niche market.  
  • Your Network: Strong and established relationships with key stakeholders in government and intelligence agencies, defense organizations and across the commercial space industry. 
  • Relevant Work Experience: A minimum of five years in a sales or business development role with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, closing complex deals, and expanding market share. 
  • Language & Regulatory Proficiency: Fluency in English (verbal and writing) is a must, professional proficiency in German or French is an asset. 
 
Strong candidates also possess skills in the following areas: 
  • Security Clearance Credentials with government agencies in Europe 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills 
  • Team player with long-term company growth in mind 
  • Good knowledge of the SatCom and/or Earth Observation market 
  • Strong can-do attitude
